Marika Moreschi

Associate Research Assistant

Marika Moreschi as an Associate Research Assistant in the Energy, Resources and Climate Change (ERCC) unit at CEPS. Before joining CEPS, she obtained a BSc cum laude in Political Science and International Relations at Sapienza University of Rome and she is a graduate MSc student in Resource Economics and Sustainable Development from the University of Bologna. As part of her MSc, she spent a year at Wageningen University & Research, where she expanded her expertise in environmental economics.  

Her primary research interest lies in the regulatory challenges for EU circular economy. At CEPS, Marika’s work focuses on policy measures to accelerate the transition towards closed-loop value chains, with a particular emphasis on the textile sector. She has contributed to research on standardisation aspects related to critical raw materials, aligning with the master’s thesis which quantifies the impact of environmental standards on the competitiveness of the EU textile industry.

Native Italian speaker, she is also fluent in English.
