In person event
On 1 July 2024, Hungary will take over from Belgium to assume the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union and finish the 18-month trio period. The presidency will be closely monitored as it is the first after the highly anticipated European Parliament elections. How will this change in the EU institutions influence Hungary’s priorities for the Council presidency? And how will the presidency affect the overall policy of the Hungarian government?
In this event, CEPS will welcome His Excellency, Ambassador Bálint Ódor, to present the Hungarian priorities just two weeks before the presidency officially starts.
The event will be followed by a closed door, members-only lunch from 12:30 to 13:15. If you wish to participate, please email [email protected]
